As he reaches for his ears next, he double (and triple) checks that his claws are sheathed properly before he carefully takes one ear into each hand and sweeps his thumbs up the edges to their tips, and up and over them to rub the pads of his fingers against the base of them. They're just like the ears on a regular dog and while Demyx's last experience with one hadn't gone so great, this was a little different.
