[Namine's presence is unexpected, but as she approaches, it's certainly not unwelcome. As she speaks, his attention shifts fully to her, and he very quickly sweeps her hands into his, holding tight but careful to not harm.
His tail swishes idly behind him, and the glow does fade somewhat from his eyes now that he's found someone - found her, though the pheromones she's letting off almost certainly have something to do with that.]
I'm fine.
[Then he makes a very obvious show of looking her over, and also staring down someone who watches that until they skitter away at a baring of teeth.]
( His touch isn't unwelcome in the slightest, so she allows him to hold onto her hands, stepping in a little closer to him. Namine's gaze trails over the changes in his appearance, noting the swishing of a tail behind him. It's not unusual, considering the things she's seen since coming to this festival. Her own tail sways softly behind her, a pleased motion as she seems to smile at him gently.
Namine gives a small shake of her head, glancing over her shoulder to the guy just as he runs off, undoubtedly scared off by Isa's fierce display. The thing Namine hasn't noticed?
There are others who linger nearby, no doubt following the scent left behind. )
[As others approach somewhat cautiously, while they escape Namine's notice, they don't escape Isa's - whether through the sound of their footsteps to his sharpened hearing or from their own scents - so it's not long before his hold on her shifts from her hands to her shoulders, tugging her close against his chest.
It's more than apparent he's very, very on edge, with the beginnings of a growl rumbling in his throat at a particularly adventurous interloper, that makes him seriously consider calling a corridor to bring her home.
But that might be... concerning... to her, so he refrains, for the moment.]
( It's certainly a surprise when Isa goes from holding her hands to holding her shoulders, finding herself face first against his chest. She blinks a few times, looking up at him for a moment, thoughtfully. It's apparent that he's on edge and she isn't terribly certain why. Maybe it's being around other people that's doing it. Either way, she lifts her arms and wraps them around him, resting her hands flat against his back.
Maybe it will help put him at ease. Then again, it could very well do the opposite.
Namine nods a little in response to him, turning her head so she can rest her head against his chest, listening to the sound of his heart beating. )
I'm sure. Everything's fine, Isa. You don't have to worry.
[It doesn't put him at ease, but it doesn't do the opposite, either - it might have put him at ease if they were well and truly alone, but such isn't the case, unfortunately.
His heartbeat is quicker than it should be, evidence of the adrenaline rushing through him from the overprotective-possessive impulses and the moon's other effects, though having her comfortably held to his chest doesn't hurt.]
I'm not...
[Well. Maybe he is worried, a bit.]
We should go. Is it alright if I use a corridor, Namine?
[Will it be scary? Or will he get a lecture for using one?]
( She can hear his heart beating heavily, her lips turning downward into a concerned frown. Namine isn't quite sure what is putting him on edge, but his next question makes her take a moment to think. It's risky for someone to enter the corridors of darkness without the coat, except for her. Namine has never been affected, likely due to the strange nature of her birth.
But this is an emergency. The quicker Isa is away from the other people, the better. She takes a moment to glance over her shoulder, seeing the people lingering not far away. )
Yes, it's fine. Let's go.
( Her tail swishes back and forth, turning her head back to bury it within his chest. It's...a little odd, just how much comfort she's taking from being pressed against him like this. But unless he tries to put distance between them, she's going to stay right there within his grasp. )
[It's unclear whether or not entering the corridors here will be the same as it was on their worlds as well. Besides that, he's not especially thinking straight, with the priority being more on her safety than his.
It's fine. There's no one here to slip in the cracks of his mental defenses in the darkness.
So he opens a corridor to... somewhere. It doesn't matter where, so long as no one else is around, and steps back into it, with her in tow. It deposits them on his apartment's balcony, at least, which is certainly devoid of anyone else that he wouldn't want there. Lea could show up, sure, but that's not a problem. So he sighs as the corridor closes behind them, loosening his hold on her and taking a half step back so he can actually, you know, look down at her.]
( Normally, she might have thought twice about this situation. After all, Isa has tried to kidnap Kairi during his time as Saix. But this feels different. It's not a matter of him trying to do something bad to her. He's trying to protect her, under the influences of this world's strange moons. So entering the portal with him is an easy decision to make.
And once they're on the other side, she takes a moment to survey their surroundings. A balcony, maybe Isa's apartment. Either way, it's safe and secluded, so Isa can be a little more at ease. She tilts her head and looks up at him as he takes the half step back, giving him a little nod. Her tail sways slowly behind her, shifting the fabric of her dress as it does. It seems to have a mind of its own. At least, she thinks it does. )
I'm fine. Thank you, Isa. Are you alright?
( Her brows furrow gently, worry crossing the delicate features of her face. Because his well being is more important than her own. After all, she's wearing a bracelet. )

[Like that guy that just skittered away.]

[When she smells so nice?]
